Booking
• To book a course please complete
the online booking form. Your booking will be confirmed within
a few hours.
• There is no registration fee for online registrations.
• A Euro 40 deposit is required for people booking
private tuition (PE or PSE) without accommodation.
• A Euro 60 deposit is required for people booking
a course and a homestay or the school residence.
• A Euro 130 deposit is required for people
booking a course and hotel or apartment accommodation.
• The deposit can be paid by bank transfer or by credit
card.
• For credit card payment we reserve the right to charge a 3% supplement.
• On receipt of your deposit we will send you a enrolment certificate, accommodation details if applicable, and an invoice.
• The balance is payable before the start of your course.
• Due to visa problems we cannot process enrolments from African nationals.
• If you wish to sit an exam at the end of your course, this must be noted on the registration form so we can check availability.Classes
• Each lesson is 45 minutes.
• Lessons are from Monday to Friday.
• Students can begin on any day between Monday and
Friday (excluding holidays).
• Course fees include placement tests, registration,
tuition, course certificate and Internet use.
• Course fees do not include the cost of activities,
insurance, bank charges, exam fees or course material.
• A charge of 12 Euros is made for course materials.
• If there is only one participant in a group, the school reserves the right to reduce the
number of lessons per week from 40 to 20, 30 to 15,
or 20 to 10.
Examinations
• Examination fees are
not included in course fees.
• If you wish to do an examination please write this
on the booking form. Details how to register will be then
sent to you.
• The school does not automatically register students
for exams.
Holidays
• The school is closed on
Saturday and Sunday and public holidays.
• There is no reduction in the course fees where a
course includes a public holiday, but lost lessons will
be made up on the other days.
• In 2012 the school is
also closed on: 10.02.2012, 19.03.2012,
06.04.2012, 01.05.2012, 07.06.2012, 29.06.2012, 15.08.2012,
21.09.2012, 08.12.2012, 13.12.2012, 25.12.2012.
• If there are 2 public holidays in one week, lessons
for one day will be made up and a free tour offered for
the second day.
Attendance
• We expect students to behave
well and attend lessons.
• Students attending at least 80% of the course will
be eligible to a certificate of attendance.
• There are no refunds for students who start their
courses late, finish early or miss lessons.
Accommodation
• We can only book your accommodation when we have received a deposit.
• Accommodation is subject to availability.
• Prices are subject to change without notice.
• Airport transfer is automatically booked for people staying in homestays. If you do not need this service please make a note on
the reigstration form.
Packages
• The school reserves the right to change the activities included in the packages.
Cancellations
• We will refund all payments received from you if
we need to cancel your course.
• For cancellations received in writing more than 7 working days before arrival there is no cancellation fee.
• If accommodation is cancelled less than 7 working days in advance an accommodation cancellation fee may apply. The fee will depend on the individual accommodation provider.
• There is no refund for cancellations after the commencement
of the course or for no-shows.
Insurance
• We strongly advise you to take out adequate insurance
for medical costs, accidents, theft, cancellation fees etc.
Liability
• All disputes are to be settled by Maltese law.
• Our liability is no more than the money we have received
from you, unless otherwise legislated under Maltese law.
• We do not accept liability for any loss, damage or
misadventure you may suffer in the school, accommodation,
or elsewhere. |
