Private English Courses

This is language tuition on a one-to-one basis. This personalised general English course is aimed at helping students to communicate freely in everyday spoken and written English. This course caters for both fluency and accuracy and is tailored to the participant's own requirements. Private English courses can also be held at your hotel in Sliema, St Julians or on Gozo at no extra charge. For hotels elsewhere there is a small daily charge.

This is a one-to-one course offering participants practice in the English language for use in a specific field selected by the participant. The English Language Academy should receive full details of the subject level and duration of the course at least 3 weeks in advance so that a programme can be formulated and a specialised teacher can be appointed. Although the English Language Academy keeps comprehensive and up-to-date resource material participants are encouraged to provide their own texts to make the course more relevant to their own needs. Activities in connection with participant's specific interest can be organised. We offer English in the following areas:

One-to-two courses are available for 2 people coming together, with approximately the same level of English. Course TE is General English and TSE is English for Specific Purposes (e.g. Business, Medical, Technical English).
